Flat Stanley ESL Project

Welcome to the ESL Speaking and Listening 4 Flat Stanley project! After reading a little about Flat Stanley, each class member was kind enough to invite Stanley to stay with them in their homes for a while. The students took their hosting responsibilities very seriously and Stanley had some incredible experiences. Their adventures together are recorded here in their blogs. Please take some time to check them out. Enjoy!

About Me

Kerrie Smith
I have been teaching ESL since I graduated from the University of Florida in 1997. I have been fortunate enough to spend two wonderful years teaching abroad: one year in Chunchon, Korea, and another in Oaxaca, Mexico. I have been living here in San Antonio for around 7 years now, and during that time I have continued teaching ESL and have earned my Master's Degree in Bicultural-Bilingual Studies. I love being in the ESL classroom as each semester brings new students from just about every part of the world.
